Michael's continues to release new yarn in their store. This year we have few to include the new Caron Blossom Cupcakes. These cupcakes are a mini cake of the full Blossom.
The Blossom Cakes and Cupcakes are made with 61% Cotton and 39% acrylic. They are both a 4 weight or worested. They are super soft and have a unique color way.
The Blossom Cakes is a 8 oz, 227g cake with 481 yards of yard. It cost $12.99 currently at Michaels.
It has 19 colors.

I did breeze through the Blossom Cakes and Cupcakes and Compare the currently colorways. They seem similar, but they are different.
The big question is whether the $4 difference is worth the 163 yards.
Take $12.99/481yards = .03 per yard. Now take $9.99/318yards = .03 per yard.
There really is no cost saving per yard on price!
